The multinational auditor Grant Thorton has made an advertising video that provides numerous arguments why Spain "is a country full of opportunities." In six minutes she reviews all the sectors in which Spanish companies carry out exemplary work worldwide.  Under the title “A different point of view on the Spanish crisis ”, the video shows optimistic data through marker drawings edited in fast-motion. The company specialized in auditing and financial advice first highlights the interest that Spain has in tourism, since this sector is at an all-time high: “We are the second country in the world in terms of tourism income , only after the US.” According to the video , Spain offers cutting-edge solutions in healthcare , engineering, telecommunications, computer programming and fashion , among many other sectors.


They also point out that “ ironically ”, in the midst of the global financial crisis, the most “solid” banks right now are Banco Santander and BBVA. A voice with an American accent highlights the leadership of Spanish companies in world-renowned projects, such as the expansion of the Panama Canal , by Sacyr Vallehermoso or the construction of the Middle East Mobile Number List first AVE in the Middle East (Mecca-Medina) by the Talgo consortium, Adif, Renfe and OHL. The consulting firm Thorton praises excellence in the renewable energy sector, using as an example the construction of a wind farm in Scotland by Iberdrola and Repsol , and pointing out that it is GAMESA that supplies the most wind turbines to the main world economies or that INDRA is the company who commissioned Germany to control its airspace to save costs and fuel.





In a humorous tone, the video emphasizes that “ whatever they say, we work as much as we have fun! ”, and that in times of crisis, Spanish businessmen stand out for their creativity.Without a doubt, government sources recognize that this interest has multiplied in recent months , since the ECB is destined to play a crucial role in the fight against the crisis, especially in the stabilization of financial markets .Socially rooted festivals Two festive days that the Government does not plan to move are May 1 (Labor Holiday) and October 12 (National Holiday) due to their “marked social roots.” However, another of the holidays that will not be suppressed, but is planned to be moved to the nearest Monday, is August 15 (Assumption of the Virgin).
