In the previous article, we looked at 5 reasons to use Phone messaging in business . In this article, we will look at the same topic, but from the end consumer's point of view.

For example, how do you really know that your customers want to be texted? Why not an email or a phone call? Is it worth your time to learn how to use text messaging in your business?
The answer is a resounding YES! But it’s important to have some facts to back up this claim! Read the evidence that customers want to receive messages.

1. People want to receive offers via Phone
An article in Digital Marketing Magazine says that 75% of people would like to receive offers via Phone. In fact, about 80% of them have never received an Phone with an offer from their favorite brands. 80%! That’s a huge Cambodia Phone Number List market waiting to be filled. So, if you’re not messaging your customers, now is the time to start. Your customers expect it, and when they’re not getting that many messages, they’ll be waiting for your messages (like emails). In fact, they’ll start reading them and responding if they can, just like we do when we get a notification that we’ve received a message.

2. Phone mailings show your company in a positive light
So people want your texts, but what do they generally think of companies that send texts? Good or bad? According to a report from Harris, we know the answer to that question.

Harris found that 77% of millennials (18-34) have a positive view of a company that uses text messaging. That’s not surprising given their age. But on average, across all age groups, 64% view companies that use text messaging in a positive light. That’s a lot of people. Interestingly, the study found that 41% of people say a company that uses text messaging “understands that their time is important.” And 40% say “the company is progressive.” Using text messaging helps your company feel like you value your customers’ needs and that you’re on the cutting edge. How wonderful and easy, right?

3. Consumers prefer Phone messaging to other communication channels
Consumers today are a little spoiled. They are used to getting information quickly online and don’t want to waste time. The Direct Marketing Association says that 44% of consumers prefer to receive offer details and other marketing messages via text message. They don’t want phone calls, emails or in-store visits. A simple, quick text will do, thank you.
