The value of a gemstone can vary depending on some of its details. Diamonds, for example, are valued worldwide for their color, clarity, cut and carat weight. This assessment is known as the 4Cs.

Cutting is the primary criterion, as it is mainly responsible for the diamond's shine and beauty. If the cut is poor, the gem will appear opaque and have a reduced value, even if it is very well classified according to color and purity criteria

Diamond purity is measured through the natural characteristics and rarity of the stone. For a diamond to be considered pure, there must be no  whatsapp database internal impurities and no external stains.
Carat is the weight of the diamond, not the size. Two diamonds can have the same weight and different sizes, or they can have similar shapes and very different weights.

Color is intrinsic to the natural tone of colorless diamonds and is the second most important characteristic of the 4Cs. The less color the diamond has, the rarer it is.

Fancy Diamonds Diamonds
are basically composed of a single element, 99.95% carbon. In rare cases, this 0.05% may be made up of one or more microminerals, creating “fancy diamonds”. It is estimated that for every one million diamonds, one is a fancy diamond. The rarest are red, green, purple, orange, pink and blue. When such a stone is found and cut, it receives a baptismal name and surname.

Yellow diamonds are beyond the GIA DZ Color Scale. Due to the presence of Nitrogen in its composition, diamonds have an elegant yellowish tone. One of the most luxurious brands, Tiffany & Co, named one of the largest and most sophisticated yellow diamonds in the world with the name “Tiffany”. Discovered in 1877 in South Africa, it was purchased the following year by Charles Lewis Tiffany, cut and finished with 128.54 carats and a yellow that appears to have a flame inside. Priceless, only 4 women were allowed to wear this jewel: socialite Mary Whitehouse in 1957, actress Audrey Hepburn in 1961, singer and actress Lady Gaga at the 2019 Oscars and singer Beyoncé in the “About Love” campaign in 2021.
